Become a qualified Bowen Therapy practitioner

In Australia, Bowen Therapy training is a nationally-recognised course, taught through the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Bowen Training Australia RTO#41134.

Two qualifications in Bowen Therapy are available:

  • Certificate IV in Bowen Therapy 11273NAT

  • Diploma of Specialised Bowen Therapy 11274NAT

The specialised Bowen training for Certificate IV in Bowen Therapy 11273NAT takes the form of a series of seven two-day, hands-on training modules, which need to be completed in sequence. Training Package units are available by distance learning through Bowen Training Australia.

In the first module, Module 1, you will be introduced to the Bowen move and relaxation procedures and be exposed to the power of Bowen as a healing modality.

Further modules take you step by step through the Bowen training, introducing new procedures to address a wide range of problems that clients may present with.

Each Bowen module is taught over a two-day period. The timing of the training allows plenty of time to revise and consolidate techniques between modules.

A Diploma of Specialised Bowen Therapy 11274NAT will involve further study, after the successful completion of the Certificate IV 10533NAT / 10846NAT / 11273NAT (or equivalent.)
